Been at semi permanent the last 3 days doing some little jobs here and there shooting bit of footage and stuff.. All the speakers were pretty sick but the stand out for me was easily ashley.. Hes a combat photographer based in the US but originally from Australia who has been shooting in war torn countries like Iraq and Afghanistan.. Definatly worth reading up and checking out his work HERE, an inspirational guy to many..

ZAF in AUS..

three days at pipe in the last two weeks, nothing special, but a good chance to get away from home and get something worth surfing.. anyways a couple of the south african boys were down there hitching rides to and from the place including a one Daniel Worsely, who surfed pretty sik for a dude ive never seen before..

2 days with 2 buntangs.

went down the coast with al and tom 'egg' bunting for a couple of days.. headed down thursday night and stayed at a mates caravan.. friday surfed a left hand reef 6ft cross shore, a beachie 3ft offshore and that night stayed at another friends place around lake conjola.. saturday surfed another beachie 3 ft offshore and then a right hand reef 4-5ft howling offshore.. for the 2 days we were down there i probly saw about 1hr of sunlight and it was raining ever second except for about 5 hours over the 2 days, fuking precipitation..

last monday i drove up the coast for a week to hang out with chase and kingy.. the charts were looking pretty amazing with a solid 3m ground swell with good winds the whole time, but the waves never came.. ended up being a massive hoax, but we milked it pretty well and got some cool shots out of it..  one day at iluka, quick session at lovers and some tows at lhb for the last 2 days provided us with enough opportunity to get something out of the trip.. it was a pretty sick trip with funny shit always going down..
